I am glad to present Rajkumar Sukla, the man who played a pivotal role in the Champaran Movement. He was illiterate but resolute. It was his determination and resolution to take Mahatma  Gandhi to Champaran to fight against the injustice of the British landlords. The movement instilled courage in the peasants and was the beginning of India’s freedom struggle.
